Our Story

Why RavaStrategy Exists

RavaStrategy was founded by Maryam Khabazan (LinkedIn) — a Burlington-based technologist with 15 years of experience in AI and product development — including 12 years at Microsoft, where she led machine learning, chatbots, and generative AI initiatives as a Principal Product Manager, ensuring software solved real-world problems and translating complex technology into clear value.

After completing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, Maryam built a career helping some of the world's largest organizations sharpen their customer communication, accelerate growth, and make better use of data and technology. The strategies behind those results — clearer messaging, smarter workflows, faster customer follow-up, and data-informed decisions — are not exclusive to enterprise companies. They are practical, proven approaches that local businesses can adopt too.

After returning to Canada and settling in Burlington, Maryam observed a growing divide: large businesses were adopting AI rapidly while local owners felt overwhelmed and left behind. RavaStrategy was built to bridge that gap — with deep technical expertise, plain-language delivery, and a genuine commitment to helping local communities stay competitive.
